Total Solar Eclipse

The next total eclipse of the Sun occurs on August 1st. I don't know yet precisely where I'll see it from. It starts in the High Arctic of Canada at local sunrise, shoots over northern Greenland, across the Arctic Sea into Sibiria, flies in the local afternoon over Novosibirsk, then into Western Mongolia and Northwest China where it ends at sunset near Xi'An.

I've been to 23 solar eclipses . 10 of those were total, 8 annular , 5 partial.
